Time travel movies are quite possibly the most difficult type of movie for me to comprehend. I can’t wrap my head around being instantly catapulted into a different decade of existence. Rather than just enjoy the movie purely for entertainment purposes, I’m consciously unraveling the possibility of how time-travel could actually exist and how different I would be if I grew up in the 2000’s. What if computers, internet and social media were the priority during my childhood like it is today?

I’m not going to say that I’m not thankful for my life experiences because I am. They made me who I am and everything happens for a reason. With computers present, would I have taught myself how to sew at age eight and progress into making dresses and a line of handbags with only one sewing class in college? Probably not. My past has shaped me into the person I am today and I love living life to the fullest. I understand and accept every individual and strive to find balance and connection with others. I enjoy learning new skills and doing the research to ensure a successful outcome with every project. Having substantial interest in many different fields, I have sought to find my niche and flourish in a career that would satisfy my love of design and solving problems while leading with optimism and inspiring positive outcomes.

Without notice, my discovery of UX/UI Design was completely unintentional and introduced to me by a cousin who works in this field. I wasn’t searching for a new career, but once I began reading about it, I instantly knew this was a perfect fit for me. This is finally the career I’ve been desiring to to be successful at and continue to be challenged. I’m organized, resourceful, empathetic, creative and emotionally intelligent. I’m motivated and adaptable to any situation whether working independently or with a team and strive to accomplish whatever it takes to produce effective, thoughtful, dynamic and reliable results. I’m excited to start my UX/UI Design career while continuing to learn and grow with a business where my skills and personality resonate.
